AUDIT AND ASSURANCE

The audit and assurance landscape is changing. Regulatory requirements’ demands for greater transparency are putting more pressure on organisations. As a result, the issue of audit and assurance is very high on our agenda. Our audit and assurance services are performed in line with the International Quality Control, Auditing, Review, Other Assurance and Related Services Pronouncements.

1. Statutory audit
2. Internal audit
3. Compliance

1. Statutory audit

We aim to perform an audit that will create value and make a real difference to a client’s business. In this respect, we see statutory audit as more than a statutory requirement. Our audit is conducted in line with the International Auditing Standards (IAS’s) and it provides the opportunity to conduct a comprehensive and objective appraisal of the financial aspects of the organisation in which recommendations can be made to add value to the client. To succeed this, our overall approach to the auditor’s report, goes far beyond regulatory demands for greater disclosure and aims to increase transparency and help to rebuild confidence in corporate reporting.

2. Internal Audit

We tailor the internal audit program to the needs of the specific entity and to complement the weaknesses identified by the Management. We conduct in depth procedure and policy examination highlighting potential areas of weakness. We further scrutinize and assess the internal procedures and processes of the client versus the regulatory laws and directives with workable and ergonomically compliance recommendations provided as solutions.

3. Compliance

We provide consulting services to EU and non-EU entities enabling them to manage their compliance mandate. We can also prepare policies, compliance opinions and daily compliance support in a multitude of regulatory and global themes.
